Is the ski pass included in the course price?

No, the ski pass is not included in the course price. The ski pass can be bought at the ticket counter at the valley station. Beginners do not need a ski pass in the ski school's own ski area, but they do require a cable car ascent and descent ticket.

At what age can children start a ski course?

Your child can make its first experience in our own kinderland at the age of 3, always under the expert guidance of a specialized ski instructor. Children from the age of 4 can take part in a ski course outside the kinderland.

At what age can children take a snowboard course?

From 6 years on.

Wie erfolgt die Gruppeneinteilung?

Am ersten Tag des Kurses werden die Kinder nach Alter und Fahrk├Ânnen eingeteilt. Falls sich herausstellt, dass ein Kind im Laufe des Kurses nicht mehr in die Gruppe passt, wird es einer anderen, passenden Gruppe zugeteilt.

How are the groups divided/classified?

On the first day of the course, the children are divided according to ages and  skills. If it turns out that a child no longer fits into the group during the course, it will be assigned to another suitable group.

For beginners (kinderland) every day at the beginning of the course. For the advanced courses on Sunday and Monday from 9.50 a.m., at the red flag at the meeting point No. 2 (see meeting points).

On which days of the week do the group courses take place?

The beginner courses daily from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. or from 1 p.m. to 3.30 p.m., with at least 3 participants. Advanced courses from Sunday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and every day during high season.

Can children go together in a group? Where does the grouping take place?

We generally recommend that every child goes into the ideal group for them. If the children still want to stay together, the technically better child has to be in the lower (slower) group.

Where does the grouping take place?

Beginners meet directly in the ski kinderland (meeting point no.3). The grading of the advanced courses takes place at the red flag at meeting point No. 2, at the top station of the gondola.

big are the ski groups?

Usually about 7 to a maximum of 10 children. In exceptional cases up to 12 children during the high season.

Do children need ski poles?

Beginners generally do not need ski poles. Advanced skiers should only bring the ski poles with them if they have already used them in a previous ski course. Otherwise, the ski instructor will let you know when the children need ski poles during the course.

Do you need a helmet?

We generally recommend everyone to wear a helmet, whether you are a beginner or advanced. There is a legal obligation to wear a helmet only for children up to 14 years.

What should I do if I'm late for a group course?

The ski instructor always starts the course on time and will return to the meeting point after the first descent so you can still join the course.  You wait at the agreed meeting point or contact a present ski instructor.

The ski kindergarten is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

What does the all-day care include?

Supervision, warm lunch, 2.5 hours of ski lessons in our own children's ski area.

Where is the ski kindergarten located?

The ski kindergarten is located next to meeting point No. 3, in the basement of the Rinneralm mountain restaurant.
